The aim of the research was identifying the effect of a recreational games program on the psychological adjustment and self-realization of people with special needs. The researchers used the experimental approach by following the experimental design of one group. The study sample consisted of (25) students from Mustafa Sadek School for the Deaf in Suez Governorate. The researchers used two scales, one of them is psychological adjustment and the other is for self-realization for deaf students. In addition to that the researchers used the proposed recreational games program. The results of the study referred to that there were statistical significant differences between the p re and the post measurement in psychological adjustment and self-realization in favor of the post-measurement.
