This study aimed to know the degree of high school principals ’performance of the skills of an effective administrative leader, and the descriptive approach was adopted. An effective managerial leader’s skills questionnaire was used for managers to evaluate themselves, and it was directed to a sample of (14) managers, and the study reached results next: Managers possess most of the specific skills of an effective managerial leader in varying proportions, as the study showed that managers have the skills of an effective managerial leader with a high degree, with the exception of problem-defining skills and medium-level task distribution skills.
