تكافؤ فرص التعليم في مرحلة الطفولة المبكرة بالجزائر : دراسة مقارنة بين معطيات مسح mics4 سنة 2012 ومسح mics6 سنة 2019
The growing interest in early childhood development in recent decades, especially from the cognitive side, and this is a result of its health and economic investment benefits, whether in the short or long term, and helps to build various skills that contribute to the social integration of the child in society and school. Therefore, this research paper aims to study the equality of opportunities for preschool education in Algeria by applying the human opportunities index (hoi), and to estimate the marginal contributions of the set of circumstances by applying the Shipley analysis methodology based on the comparison of the two most recent surveys, Mics4 in 2012 and Mics6 in 2019. The results reveal the existence of a gap in equality in pre-school education opportunities, where the percentage of difference index was D=39% in 2012 and moved to 33% in 2019, indicating that the percentage is still high and is due to marginal influences, according to the Shipley index, which enabled to determine the contributions of each factor. These factors contributed to inequality of opportunity, as we find age 24%, geographical region 21%, area of residence 17%, wealth index 16%, mother's education level 22.12%. (Published abstract)
