The problem of the study lies in the following main question: Is there a relationship between the dimensions of Alexithymia (difficulty in describing emotions, difficulty in identifying feelings, thinking outwardly) and depression in both juvenile delinquents and non-delinquents? The study population consists of 200 juvenile residents at the social observation house in Riyadh and 300 students from Al-Samo high schools. The study sample consisted of (101) males of delinquent and non-delinquent juveniles. It included (47) juvenile delinquents in the observation house, and (54) non-delinquent juveniles from Al-Samo high schools. The researcher adopted the comparative descriptive approach to investigate the study questions, since it is the most suitable for the subject of the study and its questions and objectives. Main results: 1) There is a statistically significant positive correlation at 0.01 level between the total degree of Alexithymia' two dimensions (dimensions of difficulty of expressing feelings and difficulty of identifying emotions) and the degree of depression in juvenile delinquent and non-delinquent participants. 2) There is a statistically significant positive correlation at 0.01 level between the total degree of Alexithymia' two dimensions (dimensions of difficulty of expressing feelings and difficulty of identifying emotions) and the degree of depression in Juvenile delinquent participants. 3) There is a statistically significant positive correlation at 0.01 level between the total degree of Alexithymia' two dimensions (dimensions of difficulty of expressing feelings and difficulty of identifying emotions) and the degree of depression in Juvenile non-delinquent participants. 4) There are no statistically significant differences in the average degree of difficulty of expressing emotions and the difficulty of identifying feelings between juvenile delinquents and non - delinquents. 5) There is a statistically significant positive correlation between the total degree of non- delinquent juveniles and the average score of depression, differences on behalf of the mean averages of depression. Recommendations: 1) drawing the attention of delinquents-in- charge personnel to the importance of preparing guidance programs that reduce depression among delinquents. 2) Preparing guidance programs that will develop open thinking instead of Alexithymia.
