The study problem is involved in the following main question: What is the relationship between social intelligence and achievement motivation for students of Qassim University? Study goals: 1) Recognize the level of social intelligence for the students of Qassim University. 2) Identify the level of achievement motivation for the students of Qassim University. 3) Identify the prediction of achievement motivation for the students of Qassim University. 4) Identify the differences between social intelligence and achievement motivation that attribute to the demographic variables (age - educational level - economic level) for the study sample. Study approach and tools: The study population consisted of all students of Qassim University for the academic year 1438-1439 AH and their number is (3000) students. The study sample consisted of (368) students from Qassim University, randomly taken from the study population. Study method and instrument: The researcher depended on the correlational descriptive method. Study findings: 1) There is correlation between social intelligence factors and achievement motivation among the students of Al-Qaseem University. 2) The level of social intelligence and its dimensions rise for students at the University of Qassim. 3) Achievement motivation level rise for Qassim University students. 4) Statistically significant differences in the average of achievement motivation according to the age variable for the students of Qassim University. Study recommendations: 1) Work on the use of social intelligence skills in different school curricula to develop the skills of university students to achieve success in life. 2) Train students on the dimensions of social intelligence (social information processing, social skills, social awareness, social self-efficacy, social empathy and solving social problems). 3) Work to increase the achievement motivation of the university students by providing them with educational courses.
