This research aims to know the fact of cyber-bullying in society, and how does it affect Algerian youth which represents an important category. That was, by researching its forms and the extent of its spread, and by knowing the various youth’s perceptions toward it. We relied on field research methods approved by Maurice Angers, and used the interview as a tool for collecting information with a sample of 30 university students. Finally, the following results have been reached: 1) There are many forms of cyberbullying, and the most prevalent pattern is the sarcasm pattern, followed by the pattern of harassment and repeated insults in second place. Then comes the third rank of defamation and exclusion, the last pattern is incitement and threats appeared in small percentage compared to other patterns. 2) It transformed from a social behavior into a language with specific symbols that carry a common meaning between them, as a new culture that bears the characteristics of spread, repetition and development, and it is difficult to confront it individually.
