The article aims to present the most important concepts related to the school library and information technology that contributed to its transformation from the traditional to the digital form. We also present through it a proposed project to establish a model school library that combines the standards recommended by IFLA and the American School Libraries Association, and among technology options. Modern technology, commensurate with the legal conditions and technological capabilities available in Algeria. We used the analytical descriptive approach and the statistical approach to reach the desired results of the study, and we also adopted the interview tool to obtain the necessary information and data about Ismail Yafsah 2 School. Perhaps the most prominent of the results reached is the absence of means that would contribute to the establishment of a digital library environment at the level of the school under study, in addition to the absence of qualified staff to manage the library in the event of its establishment. Therefore, we proposed some recommendations, the most important of which is the employment of specialized librarians immediately after its establishment and ensuring the provision of the most important means Electronic devices that assist librarians in accomplishing their job tasks with skill and softness.
