إضطرابات القلق لدى طلبة المعاهد العليا لمهن التمريض وتقنيات الصحة بالمغرب
The study aimed to measure the severity and prevalence of anxiety, as well as to identify the extent to which socio-demographic variables are associated with a sample of 320 students in Morocco's higher institutes of nursing and health techniques by using the Beck scale. This measure has achieved a good internal consistency factor of 0.90 above the standard rate, thereby demonstrating the usefulness of this tool. 78.4% of students experience symptoms of actual anxiety, spread between 21.6% minor anxiety and 30.6%students have mild anxiety, while 35% moderate anxiety and 13% severe anxiety. These symptoms are manifested in several forms such as stress, tightness of the chest, accelerated heartbeat and fear, and can be arranged in one dimension that collects what is psychological, emotional and purely physical. The study also showed that the phenomenon of concern was associated with variables: sex, place of residence during the school period and student's level of study. Through these results, students of higher institutes of nursing and health techniques suffer from anxiety disorder which calls for serious reflection. Early detection and psychological support programmes are developed for students because the quality of education and educational achievement depends on students' psychological and mental well-being.
