The study aimed to find out the effectiveness of the combination between theoretical teaching and field training in the course of teaching physical education on reducing teaching anxiety for female students teachers in the practical education program at the College of Basic Education. To achieve this aim, the descriptive and experimental methods were applied, using the control group design with a pre-posttest. The study sample consisted of two groups: experimental group (30 students) who studied the course of teaching physical education with field training, and control group (30 students) who studied the same course without field training in the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020. Then, both joined the practical education program in the second semester of the year 2019-2020. The teaching anxiety measure (the study tool) was applied twice, the first at the beginning of the first semester, and the second time at the beginning of the second semester. The study found that the combination of theoretical teaching and field training in the physical education course for female students in the experimental group contributed by 77.4% to reducing their teaching anxiety in the practical education program at the College of Basic Education. There is an effectiveness of combining theoretical teaching and field training in the physical education teaching course in reducing teaching anxiety among female physical education teachers.
