The study aimed to measure Education Faculty (Kuwait University) students’ awareness about the importance of the internet of things in the educational process, according to their perspective and its interconnection with some variables. The descriptive approach was used to achieve the goals of the study. The sample of the study was chosen arbitrarily, which included 453 students. A questionnaire was utilized as a study tool, focusing on two axes: the first axis is the concept of the Internet of Things and the second axis is the Internet of Things in the educational process. The study employed statistical methods analyzing results, including measures of central tendency, inferential statistical significance using the T-Test, correlations, and one-way ANOVA analysis. The results indicated a high level of awareness among Education Faculty students at Kuwait University regarding the utilization of Internet of Things technology in the educational process. Furthermore, the results showed no statistically substantial differences at the significance level α=0.05 among the mean scores of the awareness of Education Faculty students at Kuwait University towards the use of Internet of Things technology in the educational process, attributable to gender, academic specialization, or academic year. The study recommended implementing Internet of Things tools in both face to face and virtual classrooms through platforms like Microsoft Teams. Additionally, the study suggested conducting research on the degree of using Internet of Things technology to enhance and develop university curricula. (Published abstract)
