Teaching competencies are essential to the success of the educational process. This study aims to shed light on the teaching competencies of distance education, attempts to raise the level of teaching competencies in the field (planning - implementation - evaluation) of science teachers, and identify the level of benefit from distance education among science teachers during the Corona pandemic in terms of (specialization, years of experience, educational qualification) in Khamis Mushait Governorate; giving them the opportunity to develop. The descriptive approach was adopted, and the questionnaire was used for data collection. The study population comprise all middle school female science teachers in Khamis Mushait Governorate (n=120). The study sample consisted of 60 female teachers. The study concluded that the benefit was great in general, the domain of planning for distance teaching came in the first rank, followed by the domain of teaching evaluation in the second rank, then the domain of teaching implementation in the third rank. All were at a high level. Accordingly, the study presents some recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
