تحليل محتوى امتحانات الثانوية العامة لمواد العلوم للصف الثاني عشر العلمي : وفقاً لتصنيف بلوم المطور للمستويات المعرفية
The study explores the representation ratios of the cognitive levels of the modified Bloom's taxonomy measured by the science subjects' exam questions (biology, physics, and chemistry) for 12th grade in 2021-2022 in Kuwait, and identifies the representation percentage of the levels of the cognitive domain, as well as the types of questions (Objective, Essay). Content analysis was used to analyze the final exams in the three educational domains (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor). The sample consisted of 84 questions included in the three science subject exams for 2021-2022. The study concluded that all the questions concentrated in the cognitive domain only, and neglected the emotional and psychomotor domains. It focused on cognitive levels of remembering, understanding, application, and analysis, neglecting synthazing and evaluation levels. Also, the exams coincided with the relative importance of book units in the 2nd period. The study concluded with a set of recommendations. (Published abstract)
