The study aims to explore the effectiveness of a text-grammar program in developing the textual analysis skills of the aspects of Cohesion and Coherence among students of the Arabic Language Department at Ta’if University. To achieve this, the researcher used the quasi-experimental design and used one experimental group for its suitability for this study. The study sample consisted of 33 students: chosen randomly. The researcher prepared a test in the textual analysis skills of (C&C), and the study found statistically significant difference between the pre and post measurements in developing the skills of textual analysis of the aspects of cohesion and coherence. in favor of the dimensional measurement due to the text-based program.
