حفظ القرآن الكريم وعلاقته بالضبط الذاتي لدى أطفال ما قبل المدرسة
The study aimed at revealing the relationship to between the memorization of the Holy Quran and self-regulation in the kindergarten children using descriptive correlative method. The study is sample consisted of 58 children from the preliminary stage, of whom (28) child were enrolled in the activity of memorizing the Holy Quran. (HTKS) scale was used to measure self- regulation, and a fon was applied to assess the memorization level in the Holy Quran activity, also codified interviews were conducted with their mothers. Quantitative data were analyzed using t- test for independent groups, and Pearson correlation, and the analysis of multiple linear regression, In qualitative data repetition and percentages were used for groups of qualitative analysis of interviews. Results of the study concluded that there was a strong positive relationship between memorization of the Holy Quran activity and self-regulation, and found a difference in the self-regulation in favor of the enrolled Children in the activity of memorizing Quran, According to the results, the study recommended that there is a need to increase Holy Quran courses in a planned period within the official program for kindergarten to enhance self-regulation in children, also encouraged researches on memorizing Quran as an intervention procedure for children with low self-regulation.
