This study aimed to measure the impact of a proposed teaching approach based on some principles of linguistic theories in developing creative linguistic production skills. To achieve this goal, the researcher has prepared a set of tools, namely: a list of creative language production skills, a teaching guide to the proposed entrance, an assessment test built in the light of the list of skills and a predetermined teaching guide. These tools were applied to a sample of 60 secondary students (first graders) who were divided equally into two groups: (experimental and control). The researcher concluded that the proposed teaching approach had the greatest effect in changing the results of the experimental sample. The statistical analysis of the data showed a clear superiority in their post-performance compared to the performance of their peers in the control group who did not show any improvement. Recall, these differences have been established at the level (0.05). (Published abstract)
