دور الأنشطة اللغوية الثقافية اللاصفية في دافعية اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها من وجهة نظر الطلبة والمعلمين في سلطنة عمان
This study aimed at identifying the most common learning methods in the teaching of reading skills among teachers in the Arabic language teaching institutions of non-Arabic speakers in the Sultanate of Oman (15) teachers and teachers, who were randomly chosen by means of 100%. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcher used the descriptive method through the preparation of a note card, consisting of (56) questions distributed in six educational methods (syntactic, traditional, direct, reading, auditory, communicative). The tool also included open- Interview) and verified its sincerity and stability. The results of the study showed the following: 1) The audiovisual method is the most common in the teaching of reading skills among students in the institutions of teaching Arabic to other speakers in Oman, followed by the method of reading, and then direct, while the synthetic method is the least common in the teaching of reading skills. 2) There are no significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) depending on the variables; gender and specialization, while there are differences depending on the variable years of experience in the traditional method, as well as according to the variable educational stage in all methods of education except the direct method. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended increasing the number of hours of oral conversation and reducing the indoctrination in the classroom, activating the role of the language partner, and preparing awareness programs to benefit from available means such as newspapers, magazines and so on.
