This study aims at identifying the reality of people with special needs' school libraries in terms of the criteria of the design of these libraries in Alexandria Governorate and the availability of office equipment suitable for those people in such libraries. Hence, the researcher used the field survey method to identify and treat their weaknesses and to identify and support their strengths in order to raise the efficiency of the school libraries of the people with special needs in Alexandria, in a way that suits the nature of its students. Accordingly, the researcher found that the locations of some libraries are not suitable for pupils with special needs in terms of distance and accessibility, as well as the lack of suitable libraries in terms of ventilation, lighting and the lack of diversity of office equipment and its adequacy where audio and video equipment is not available. In this light, the researcher recommends that the location of the library should be in the first floor close to classrooms, in addition to avoiding narrow passages so that students with special needs could access the library easily.
