This study aimed to identify the reality of practicing sustainable leadership and its relationship to school performance from the point of view of educational principals and supervisors in the taif education department. The study focused on the dimensions of strategic leadership represented in (determining strategic directions, exploiting and investing in capabilities and talents, and developing human capital) and its relationship to school performance from the point of view of educational principals and supervisors in the Taif education department. The researcher used the descriptive survey approach and used the questionnaire for data collection. The research population consisted of all educational principals and supervisors at the secondary level affiliated with the education department in north taif, numbering (120) educational principals and supervisors. The research sample consisted of (50%) of the research population, including (60) educational principals and supervisors who were selected in a representative random manner. The questionnaire was electronically distributed and (52) responses were obtained. The study reached the following results: the total mean of (determining strategic directions) is (3.62), the total mean of (exploiting and investing in capabilities and talents) is (3.58), the total mean of (developing human capital) is (3.50), and the total mean of (school performance) is (3.54). The study also showed that there is a statistically significant relationship at a 0.05 ≥ α between practicing sustainable leadership and school performance. Based on the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following: the need to enhance sustainable leadership practices in the school through training courses and workshops, giving more attention to its application, working to prepare future leaders, and working to raise awareness among employees of the importance of applying sustainable leadership practices for their effective role in school performance.
