This study aimed to examine the relative contribution of both the difficulty of regulating emotion and moral disengagement among university students. The study sample consisted of (261) university students (47) males and (214) females, ranging in age from (16) to (25) year, and the study used the scale of the dark triad traits in personality prepared by the researcher, the scale of the difficulty of regulating emotion prepared by (Gratz & Roemer, 2004) translated by (Montaser Salah Fathi, 2019), the moral disengagment scale prepared by (Bandura, et al., 1996) and the translation by The researcher, and the results of the study indicated that moral disengagement was able to predict the traits of the dark triad of personality to different degrees. the results of This study indicated the possibility of negative prediction of the narcissistic personality through the lack of emotional awareness and the possibility of Positively predicting the psychopathic personality through (difficulty controlling impulsivity, lack of emotional awareness), while none of the dimensions of difficulty regulating emotion predicted the Machiavellian personality.
