The study aimed to measure the degree of school headmasters and headmistresses’ practices of administrative control and its relationship with teachers’ organizational slackening in the North Al Batinah Educational Governorate in the Sultanate of Oman. For the sake of achieving the aims of the research, the author tried to explore the samples’ practices at schools of the above-mentioned governorate. Thus, the researcher used a descriptive method, prepared a questionnaire consisting of 54 statements distributed into two axes. The first one is about the measure of administrative control, which was divided into two fields: the technical field and the administrative field. While the second axis is about the measure of organizational slackening. The questionnaire was conducted on 420 individuals from school headmasters, headmistresses, and senior teachers. This study has revealed several substantial findings: 1) the degree of headmasters and headmasters’ practice of administrative control are high to some extent. 2) there are differences of statistical significance when significance =0.05 which is referred to social gender, years of experience and educational qualification variables in the measure of administrative control. 3) there is no difference of statistical significance when significance = 0.05 which is referred to educational qualifications’ variable in the measure of administrative control. 4) the studies revealed that there is a low counterproductive relationship which means that obtaining higher degree of schools’ heads practices of administrative control leads to decreasing levels of teachers’ organizational slackening attitudes. To sum up, this study concluded with some recommendations: 1) the importance of having robust and high quality of standards and measures of selecting future headmasters, headmistresses, their assistants and senior teachers as they have critical and active role in practicing higher level of administrative control. 2) Emphasize the crucial impact of rewarding and motivating current schools’ heads, their assistants and senior teachers on organizations. 3) develop and increase employees’ awareness about disadvantages and side-effects of slackening on the organizations. 4) the study, moreover, considers the importance of teachers’ professional development as a substantial player in this issue.
