The study aimed to reveal the differences in both body image and depression among obese children in the Arab environment according to gender and nationality, and to identify the relationship between body image and depression, in addition to predicting depression in the light of body image among the study sample consisting of (140) children of both sexes in Egypt and Kuwait. By applying the two study tools. The results indicated that there were no differences between the members of the study sample in both body image and depression due to each gender and nationality, and there was a negative correlation between body image and depression, and finally the contribution of body image in predicting depression among obese Arab children of both sexes.
