This study aimed at identifying the level of professional identity among private school teachers in Hebron Governorate from the point of view of the teachers themselves, according to the variables (gender, directorate, years of experience). The researcher used the analytical descriptive approach, and the questionnaire was used to answer the study questions, which consisted of four areas: (teaching, curriculum, students, professional and personal growth).The number of members of the study sample reached (208) male and female teachers, selected by the random stratified sampling method from the teachers of private schools from the four directorates of education in Hebron Governorate: (Hebron, North Hebron, South Hebron, and Yatta) in the first semester of the academic year (2022/2023) and number of the study population was (1008). The results showed: There is a high level of professional identity among private school teachers in Hebron Governorate, with differences in the level of professional identity among private school teachers attributed to the gender variable, and the differences were in favor of females. The study also showed that there were no differences in the level of professional identity among private school teachers in Hebron Governorate due to the variable (years of experience, directorate).
