This current research aims to identify the challenges of applying self-evaluation and school accreditation standards in private schools in Jeddah Governorate through the use of the descriptive approach to identify these challenges and proposed solutions. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the interview and questionnaire as a tool for collecting information. The study population consisted of a random sample of male- Principals and deputies of private schools for the schools supervised by the researcher in Jeddah Governorate in the first semester of the academic year (1445 AH). The study sample amounted to (35)male-principals and deputies. (Author’s abstract)
