The study aimed to identify the relationship between the level of parental control and the level of aggressive behavior among the tenth grade students in Jerusalem municipality schools, and the study sample consisted of a random sample of tenth grade students in the municipality’s schools which amounted to (339) students, and the parental methods scale was used by the researcher’s numbers. As well as the aggressive behavior scale prepared by the researcher. The study found that the control methods used primarily are the positive control method, and it came with an arithmetic average (2.37) and a percentage of 79%, while the traditional control method came in second place with an arithmetic average (1.71) and a percentage of 57%, and then the aggressive control method with an arithmetic average. (1.53), and a percentage of 51%. The results of the study also indicated that the level of aggressive behavior among the tenth grade students was moderate, and the field of physical aggressive behavior obtained the highest arithmetic average (2.18) and a percentage (43.6%), followed by the field of passive aggressive behavior with an arithmetic mean (1.98) and a percentage (39.6%). And then the field of verbal aggressive behavior with a mean (1.88) and a percentage (37.6%). The results also indicated the existence of an inverse relationship with statistical significance at the level of significance between the positive control method and the degree of aggressive behavior, and between the traditional control method and the aggressive behavior. The relationship was positive, as well as with regard to the aggressive control method and the hostile behavior, so the relationship was positive. The results indicated that there are differences in the gender variable in favor of males, the rate variable in the traditional parental control method related to the father in favor of a good estimate, as well as the acceptable rate in the aggressive control method, and the father’s education variable as it was found that the education level of the father is secondary and less have a control method. Emotional, aggressive, and variable maternal education level. There were no differences. The results also indicated the existence of physical aggressive behavior in favor of males, and the low (acceptable) rate variable was the closest to physical aggressive behavior. As for the parent and mother’s education level variable, it was found that it does not affect the level of aggressive behavior among children, and the income variable shows that low income leads to behavior aggressive. The study recommended the necessity of urging parents to consolidate the relationship with their children through positive control based on dialogue, discussion and respect, as this reduces the level of aggressive behavior in schools, and raises the level of awareness among parents, specifically those with low education, through awareness programs that help in identifying and using positive control methods. In education, giving children confidence and appreciation, and involving them in making various decisions, as this helps in building a strong personality capable of giving in different age stages.
