This research aims to know the effectiveness of the strategy of mental maps in the acquisition of students of art education of art education of the college of the basic education of Kuwait for the concepts of plastic and aesthetic relations as well as The effectiveness of mental maps strategy in developing the creative abilities of students of art education. The importance of research in the following points: 1) Students learn how to use mental maps. 2) Training students to use the skills of thinking as send 3) Students acquire the concepts of plastic and aesthetic relations using mental maps. 4) Developing students’ creative abilities. 5) Building a map model a mental mind through the story of a painting. This research was limited to a sample of students of the fourth year of (20) students from the department of art education at the faculty of basic education in Kuwait. The researcher adopted the method of content analysis in the form of artistic work and the relations of structural and aesthetic foundation and was based on field studies due to the scarcity of applied studies in this field. The results of the study also confirmed the positive impact of mental maps on the acquisition of art education students for the concepts of plastic and aesthetic relations. The researcher suggested a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: 1) The need to provide the teacher with a guide to explain what the mental maps program and how to use in teaching and how to train students it. 2) Focus on interactive strategies demonstration and diverse of solutions and ?? activities and mental knowledge of emphasize the importance of methods.
