فاعلية برنامج قائم على الأنشطة المتنوعة في تحسين مهارات التواصل اللغوي لدى أطفال مرحلة ما قبل المدرسة

The current aimed to verify the effectiveness of a various activities-based program on improving linguistic communication skills in a sample of pre-school children aged (4-5 years old). The research followed the quasi-experimental approach with a single group design, which included (15) preschool children, divided as: (7) male, (8) female children, with mean age (4.65), and SD (0.31) in Beni Suef Governorate (Gamal Abdel Nasser School and Taha Hussein School). The researcher prepared and applied the Pictorial Speech and Language Screening Test, to measure some dimensions of linguistic communication skills, including vocabulary and articulation skills, language understanding and linguistic repetition and a program of various activities for preschool children. The results revealed that there was a significant increase between mean scores of pre and post assessments in linguistic communication skills in all dimensions on the Pictorial Speech and Language Screening Test favoring post assessment, and that there was no significant increase between mean scores of the post- and follow-up assessments (a month after graduation) in all dimensions of linguistic communication skills on the Pictorial Speech and Language rating Screening. According to the research results, the researcher provided some recommendations and further research. (Published abstract)
