فعالية برنامج إرشادي قائم على العلاج بالمعلومات في تحسين التسامح الاجتماعي لدى طلاب المرحلة المتوسطة
The research aimed to identify the effectiveness of a counseling program based on information therapy in improving social tolerance among middle school students, evaluating the effectiveness of a counseling program based on information therapy in improving social tolerance among middle school students. The researcher used the quasi-experimental approach using the design of equivalent groups as an experimental group as a control group, the following tools were used: a counseling program based on information therapy (prepared/researcher), a measure of social tolerance (prepared by the researcher), a test of ordinary successive matrices (prepared by Joan Raven: translated by: Nasser al-Din Abu Hammad, 2007), participants in the final application of the research tools were selected in the final application from Laila al-Qurashiah intermediate school for girls. The number of third-grade intermediate school students was 24 students, with an average age of 14.2 and a standard deviation of 0.41. The results of the research concluded that: 1) there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups. In the post-measurement of the social tolerance scale; 2) there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the post- and follow-up measures. Urging the holding off training courses for students on information therapy and its types, such as reading therapy and art therapy. (Published abstract)
