الملامح المميزة لنظام التعليم في سنغافورة، وإمكانية الإفادة منها في دولة الكويت : دراسة تحليلية
The aim of the study was to investigate the educational system in Singapore including the process of the educational paths in each stage: primary schools, secondary schools and post-secondary schools. To achieve the objectives of the study, content analysis has been employed for its appropriateness to the nature of the study. The results showed that compulsory education in Singapore, from primary to post-secondary education, is the responsibility of the state. The results showed that there is a growing concern and focus on cognitive and non-cognitive aspects in primary education. This is shown in the procedure of transition from primary schools up to the end of public education. The results also indicated that High School offers more than six paths attended that the educational system in Singapore aims to prepare students for both local and global market. The end result of the study was to introduce some proposals for policy makers in the State of Kuwait that might be implemented in the process of reforming the education system. (Published abstract)
