This research dealt with the reality of the practice of organizational citizenship behavior in the schools of the second cycle of basic education in Sohag Governorate, and it aimed to identify the reality of organizational citizenship behaviors in these schools. They were selected in a stratified random manner, from principals, agents, teachers, specialists and administrators in the schools of the second cycle of basic education in Sohag Governorate. The study found the following: The five dimensions of organizational citizenship behaviors (altruism - civility - sportsmanship - civilized behavior - conscientiousness) are achieved in actual reality to a high degree. The dimensions of civility and sportsmanship are achieved in actual reality to a moderate degree. Recommendations: 1) Strengthening the two dimensions of civility and sportsmanship by the school administration in basic education schools. Training managers on how to prepare a plan to spread the values of positive organizational citizenship among employees. School administration officials should work to increase and develop organizational citizenship behaviors, which positively affects the increase in the level of job performance among employees. 2) Paying attention to job satisfaction, and fairness in distributing work to teachers. The need to establish a fair system for material and moral rewards. Providing a good organizational climate. (Published abstract)
