The aim of the research is to the effectiveness of a proposed unit in museum education to develop archaeological awareness among secondary school students in the Republic of Yemen. For the purpose of achieving the research goal, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach and the experimental approach to design a single group. The research sample was chosen in a simple random manner consisting of (40) students from High school students in Kuwait Secondary School in the capital Sana'a - Sana'a, for the academic year 2018- 2019, and an awareness measure consisting of (29) items distributed on four dimensions was applied before the application to the sample, then they taught the proposed unit, then applied the scale after, and after statistical data processing Using the statistical package in the social sciences and humanities (SPSS). Calculation arithmetic averages, standard deviations, and T. test for one group to indicate the differences between the mean scores of the sample individuals for the pre and post measurement, and the Fakronbach coefficient to calculate the stability of the tool, and the research reached: There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores High school students in the components of the archaeological awareness scale and the scale as a whole before and after teaching the proposed unit in favor of post-implementation, The topics of the proposed unit were not previously taught in detail and focused on Yemeni museums and antiquities, but this was indicated in some margins of the book of social studies in a simple manner without adequate explanation in the form of activities undertaken by the student.
