This research aimed to measure the effect of the difference between interactive and animated infographic style in adaptive learning environment on developing computer operating system skills of High and Low Mental Capacity students of educational technology. To achieve the aim of the research, two infographic styles (interactive and animated) were designed in an adaptive learning environment. In light of design standards and according to the Abdul Latif Al-Jazzar model (2014) for educational design and development. The research was limited to an intended sample of fourth year students- Educational technology department (General division) in the faculty of specific education- Tanta university and the respondents in the final experiment are (44) students, This sample was classified into (Low/ High) Mental Capacity according to Pascual Juan Leone test, Students were randomly divided into four Experimental group, Through way- global design pattern “2×2”. To appear the four experimental group in order: The first Experimental Group was represented by (Interactive Infographic Style/ High mental capacity(, The second Experimental Group (Interactive Infographic Style / low mental capacity(,The third Experimental Group (Animated Infographic Style/ High mental capacity(and the fourth Experimental Group (Animated Infographic Style/ low mental capacity), the results revealed the superiority of the first Experimental Group (interactive Infographic Style/ High mental capacity( on all the research tools which included the achievement test and observation card for Computer operating system skills. In addition, a correlation Relationship was found between the grades of experimental groups learners on all research tools. (Published abstract)
