It aims to identify the extent to which current curricula based on activities achieve one of the important educational goals, which is the ability of the primary school pupil to think critically and use his skills to answer the test questions which prepared for that, and it includes five main axis. Each axis measures one of the five critical thinking skills which is (defining assumption, interpretation, deriving, conclusion and evaluate of arguments), after verifying its sincerity and reliability the researcher applied it to a sample of students, they were about (146) students at the fifth grade and (125) students at the sixth grade, the students were chosen by the random cluster method in Hama schools. The results showed the degree of possessing critical thinking skills for the individuals was close to the educationally acceptable standard in both grades, in addition to presence an effect of the gender variable in the responses of both grades students on the text as a whole in favor of females. As for the levels of students in each skill, in both grades the deriving skill ranked first, and the evaluate arguments skill ranked forth, and the conclusion skill ranked fifth, while the skill of interpretation and assumption are alternated on the second and third ranks in both grades. Based on these results, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, hoping to benefit the education wheel forward. (Published Abstract)
