المهارات (التدريسية، والبحثية، والإدارية) لدى أعضاء هيئة التدريس وفقا لمعايير الإعتماد الأكاديمي : دراسة إستكشافية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في جامعة الباحة في المملكة العربية السعودية
This study aimed to identify the availability of skills (teaching, research, and administrative) for the academic teaching staff at Al-Baha University in Saudi Arabia, and to recognize the relative importance for each type of these skills. To achieve the objectives of the study, a scientific questionnaire has been developed and distributed to the university academic staff that represent the study population (680 members) distributed to different academic ranking (full professor, associate professor, assistant professor, and lecturer). A random sample of (40%) of total population was taken (267) questionnaires were distributed. The main findings of this study are: the levels of teaching skills availability of academic staff is moderate, close to high, where levels of research skills availability of academic staff is moderate, close to low, also levels of administrative skills availability is moderate. The study recommends emphasizing the development of all type of skills and giving more attention to the feedback skills of students’ evaluation, and skills of initiative scientific research, and skills of formulation visions and objectives that are related to administrative work.
