The study aimed to identify the degree of practicing the academic leaders of the strategic planning in the education colleges of both Islamic Alasmarya University and Al-Mergeb in light of standards and quality assurance. In order to achieve the objectives of the study and testing its hypothesis, the analytical and descriptive approach was used and questionnaire was designed to collect the data from the academic leaders in education colleges of the Al-Mergeb University about the degree of practicing the academic leaders to strategic planning and Accreditation Standards and Quality Standards with the eight dimensions (Strategic Planning , Organizational Structure/ Leadership/ Management, Resources and Education Services, Members of the faculty and Support Staff, Students and Graduates, Education and Learning Programs, Postgraduate Studies/ Education, Sciences Research/Community Services and Environment, and Quality Assurance).The concluded a set of conclusions which are: There is a weak practice of strategic planning among academic leaders in the faculties of education at Al Merqeb University with a relative weight of (41%). The degree of achievement of accreditation and quality assurance standards in the faculties of education reached (53.2) with a grade of (medium), and that The dimension (teaching and learning programs) came as the highest requirements for accreditation which achieved with a relative weight of (65%) and with a grade of (medium), and the minimum accreditation requirements was achieved for the benefit of the dimension (students and graduates) with a relative weight of (23.4%) and with a grade of (very weak), and the dimension (Quality Assurance and Continuity) came with a weak verification score with a relative weight of (40.2%) and a (weak) rating.
