The current research aimed at investigating the effectiveness of Designing an E- instructional packages based on Learning for fun and measuring its impact on developing self-learning skills, geographical culture and reducing the cognitive load of second-grade students in geography subject. To achieve this goal, an E-instructional packages based on Learning for fun was designed based on learning for fun by reformulating the two units "Our Arab Homeland, One Place and Diverse Nature" - 'The Population of Our Arab World Unity and Diversity", and preparing a guide for the geography teacher to teach using E- instructional packages. A scale was also prepared for self-learning skills, a test for geographical culture, and a scale for reducing the cognitive load." The research experiment was carried out in Wadi Majid Preparatory School for Boys in the academic year 2021-2021. Its Finding concluded that the use of E- instructional packages based on Learning for fun in teaching geography had an effective effect in acquiring the skills of self-learning and geographical culture, and contributed to reducing the cognitive Load" for second year preparatory students. The finding also showed a large impact size of E- instructional packages based on Learning for fun on the dependent variables, and the research presented a number of recommendations for those in charge of planning social studies curricula in general and geography in particular, and for its teachers and supervisors, and suggested some studies related to its topic.
