The research aims to know the effect of the transfer strategy and the story map in developing the speaking skills and creative thinking of the fifth grade literary students in the subject matter. The research sample reached (112) students from the fifth year of middle school, the literary branch, which were intentionally chosen. And in education and psychology to verify its validity, the researcher used a scale in speaking skills with a note card of eighteen indicators, and proved the validity and reliability of the scale, and a test in creative thinking, the researcher adopted the Torrance test to measure the ability to creative thinking, and after processing the results using An analysis of unilateral variance. The study found: The presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the three research groups in developing the skills of speaking and creative thinking, as the students of the first experimental group who study the subject matter of the transfer strategy outperformed the students of the second experimental group and the control group in the creative thinking test and the students of the experimental group excelled. The second, who study the expression material with the story map strategy, on the students of the first experimental and control group in the scale of speaking skills. (Published abstract)
