The aim of the current research is to identify the role that social media plays in developing the professional competencies of kindergarten teachers and the teacher's point of view in light of some demographic changes. The research used the descriptive approach, and the sample of the research consisted of (100) kindergarten teachers. The results of the research revealed the following: There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between (the requirements for achieving social media sites for their role in developing the professional competencies of kindergarten teachers from the teachers ’point of view in light of some demographic variables) according to the years of experience variable, and the reality of the role Social media sites in developing the professional competencies of kindergarten teachers from the teachers ’point of view in light of some demographic variables, the requirements for achieving social media sites for their role in developing the professional competencies of kindergarten teachers from the teachers’ viewpoint in light of some demographic variables (according to the kindergarten type variable, The study recommended the necessity of holding scientific forums that enable the teacher to get acquainted with all that is new in the field of the profession, and the necessity of providing training courses that help the teacher to interact with technological innovations on a regular basis, which helps in providing her with the necessary skills to keep up with technological developments, in addition to the necessity to include communication sites. The social approach to traditional methods of learning in order to develop the performance of the teacher, and the need to provide many participatory applications that allow the teacher to participate and interact in the environment of digital transformation.
