The study aimed to know the relationship between overconfidence in probabilistic judgments and its relationship to the professional competence of the kindergarten teacher. The sample size was (84) kindergarten teachers in kindergartens in some experimental and governmental schools for general education within the governorate of Beni Suef, and the study tools were represented in the Excessive Confidence Scale In the probabilistic judgments (prepared by Zahraa Fathi Muhammad, 2021), the data were processed statistically through the statistical program, and the results resulted in a statistically significant relationship at a significance level of 0.01 for the hypothesis that “there is a statistically significant relationship as a result of predicting excessive confidence in the light of professional competence.” The kindergarten teacher has the entrance to the study, and accordingly, the hypothesis was validated at a significance level of 0.01. And the imposed relationship was confirmed that there is a relationship between excessive confidence in the probabilistic judgments and the professional competence of the kindergarten teacher. Statistical analyzes were conducted using the spss program to test the validity of the hypothesis. The researcher used simple linear regression and the coefficient of determination or explanatory power of the simple regression model. And also, the analysis of variance to ensure the validity of the regression model. As well as testing the significance of the regression coefficients. (Published abstract)
