The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of the electronic school press in developing the writing and critical thinking skills of sixth graders of primary school; To achieve this, the researcher built a set of tools: a list of writing skills, a list of critical thinking skills appropriate for sixth graders, a test to measure writing skills, a scale for critical thinking, and a guide for the teacher to guide him when using the electronic school press. The research sample consisted of (48) male and female students at Al-Shaheed Abdul Rahman Al-Deeb School (formerly Ahmadiyya) affiliated to the Shebin El-Koum Educational Administration in Menoufia Governorate: 1) There are statistically significant differences at level (0.01) between the mean scores of the research sample students in the pre and post applications to test functional writing skills in favor of the post application. 2) There are statistically significant differences at level (0.01) between the mean scores of the research sample students in the pre and post applications of creative writing skills test in favor of the post application. 3) There are statistically significant differences at level (0.01) between the mean scores of the research sample students in the pre and post applications to test writing skills as a whole in favor of the post application. 4) There are statistically significant differences at level (0.01) between the mean scores of the research sample students in the pre and post applications to test critical thinking skills as a whole and its dimensions separately in favor of the post application. 5) There is a positive, statistically significant correlation between the scores of the research sample students in both writing skills and critical thinking.
