The aim of this research is to study the effectiveness of employing augmented reality technology via the mobile phone in developing the skills of woodworking and visual imaging among students of the Faculty of Specific Education, Damanhour University. To achieve the objectives of the research, an augmented reality application was designed on a mobile phone. An achievement test was built in the cognitive aspects of woodworking skills, the woodworking skills performance evaluation card, and the student's book. The research sample was selected from among the students of the first year in the Department of Art Education, Faculty of Specific Education, Damanhour University, which amounted to (91) male and female students. It was divided into two groups: the first was experimental (studying with augmented reality technology), and the other was controlling group (taught in the traditional way). The research concluded that there a statistically significant effect of augmented reality technology via mobile phone in developing woodworking skills and visual imaging among students of the research sample with statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) in favor of the experimental group students, a result that indicates the effectiveness of augmented reality via mobile phone in developing skills of augmented reality via mobile phone, woodwork and visual imaging of the students of the research sample.
