The research aims to measure the level of self-affirmation skills among students majoring in psychological counseling at A’Sharqiyah University in the Sultanate of Oman in the light of the following variables: academic year, cumulative average, academic level. The researchers followed the descriptive approach, and to answer the research questions, Ratus' self-affirmation skills scale was applied on a sample of (247) students specializing in psychological counseling at A’Sharqiyah University, which were chosen randomly. The results of the research concluded that the self-affirmation skills of students specializing in psychological counseling were "Moderately low ", and there were no statistically significant differences for the variable (academic year) and the variable (academic level), while there are statistically significant differences for the variable (cumulative average) in favor of students with averages (3.1-4.0).
