The aim of this research is to build an achievement test in mathematics for second year primary school students, according to the new reform curricula for the primary stage depending on the descriptive method. The achievement test consisted in its first form of 32 items, and it was modified before the second experiment to make it a component in its final form of 36 items. As for the statistical treatment, the ease and discrimination factors were calculated for the items and this was intended for their arrangement, as well as the intent to exclude the items that do not have an acceptable discrimination factor. The psychometric properties of the test of stability and reliability were high and acceptable, as the seizure itself had suitable and high stability indications using the half-segmentation method using the Saberman-Brown equation, where the reliability coefficient was 0.82, which is a good value. As for honesty, its value was: 0.67, which is an acceptable value. It was calculated using the spoken truthfulness method. As for the final experimentation that was conducted in several schools in the municipality of Messila on a sample of 200 pupils from the second year of primary school, which mainly aims to calculate the criteria, and classify them into 5 categories after deriving and extracting the standard grades and the T-criteria. The mean of the achievement targets was 29.63, while the standard deviation was 4.34 and the measurement error was 0.30. (Published abstract)
