The study aimed to identify the importance of developing emotional intelligence skills as a tool to reduce school violence in the light of the Goleman model, by defining the concept of emotional intelligence and its importance and identifying its dimensions and methods and tools for development Skills, identifying the causes, forms and manifestations of school violence determining the results of the impact of school violence on students in various fields, and finally developing proposals to activate and develop emotional intelligence skills to reduce school violence. we relied on the descriptive evaluative approach, as it is the appropriate approach to this topic. The study made several recommendations, the most important of which is the necessity of sensitizing the educational group to the importance of emotional intelligence, training them on its skills, generalizing its use in educational programs and involving students in various sports and cultural activities in educational institutions in order to reduce school violence.
