The aim of this study was to reveal the viewpoint of parents and their attitudes towards their deaf child. Data were collected from a sample formed from of 35 persons, 18 of whom 18 fathers and 17 mothers, using a scale of attitude developed by the researchers. The findings showed that: 1) parents have negative attitudes towards their children with hearing disabilities. 2) In addition, there are no significant differences between parents in their attitudes toward their children with hearing disabilities. 3) There are no significant differences between rural and urban in the direction of their children with hearing disabilities. 4) There are no significant differences in parental attitudes towards their children with hearing disabilities according to the educational level. 5) There are no significant differences in parental attitudes towards their children with hearing disabilities according to the material condition of the family. 6) There are no significant differences in parental attitudes towards their children with hearing disabilities according to the severity of disability (medium, severe, very severe).
