The aim of this research is proposed a model for improving the databases content within the computer course, and investigates its effectiveness in developing the concepts of databases of high school students. The research was based on the descriptive and analytical approach, as well as the experimental approach. Research sample were consisting of two groups, one of which is experimental (20) student, and the other is control group (20) students. The research tools included an achievement test to measure students' achievement of database concepts. The research reached a proposed model of seven phases, and the results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control research groups in the achievement in favor of the experimental group due to the effectiveness of the proposed model. In light of these results the researcher recommended the adoption of the model proposed by the Ministry of Education, and its circulation to commercial secondary schools. (Published abstract)
