بدائل تمويل التعليم الجامعي في المملكة العربية السعودية في ضوء بعض التجارب العالمية
This study aimed to identify the best alternatives for financing university education in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of international experiments through reviewing some experiments of Arab and international countries regarding of financing the university education, using that to find out which suitable for KSA. The study relied on the descriptive analytical method based on collecting and analyzing information included in the literature on financing university education, as well as international experiences on financing university education, in addition to the results and recommendation of other previous researches in the same scope. Also, the study reviews some samples of financing universities education in America, Canada, Netherlands and Egypt then compared with Saudi's. The study has given some recommendations and most notably are: encouraging the Saudi businessmen in investing in education and providing the opportunity for major companies to take charge of opening educational institutions and giving them commercial concessions in exchange for that, and activating societal partnerships with universities. In addition to encouraging volunteering to provide construction services or maintenance and cleaning work, which cost universities a lot of money. (Published abstract)
