The current study aimed to identify the common attachment patterns among primary school children (6-12) years old when they were in the cradle age 1-3 years from the mothers' point of view, and to know the relationship between the attachment pattern at the cradle age and the degree of compatibility (personal, social) in the age of 6-12 years, the study sample consisted of (n= 852) of the regular students in primary day schools in the Riyadh region, who belong to the age group (6-12) years. The researcher has the following tools: the measure of attachment styles prepared by the researcher, and the measure of personal and social compatibility prepared by the researcher. Cronbach's alpha to ensure stability, and after analyzing the results, the study reached the following results: 1) The most common attachment pattern among children of the age group (6-12) when they were in the cradle age of 1-3 years is the secure attachment pattern with a mean (3.16), followed by the resistant attachment pattern with a mean (2.26), Then the avoidant attachment pattern with an arithmetic mean (2.04), and finally the non-uniform ambiguous attachment pattern with an arithmetic mean (1.87). 2) There is no relationship between the dimension of safe attachment for children when they are at the age of the cradle and personal adjustment in the age group (6-12) years, while there was a negative inverse relationship between attachment styles (avoidant, resistant, irregular) and personal adjustment of children in the age group (6-12) years, this relationship was significant at the 0.01 level. 3) There is a positive direct relationship between the dimension of safe attachment for children when they are at the age of the cradle and social adjustment in the age group (6-12) years, and this relationship was significant at the 0.01 level, and there was a negative inverse relationship between attachment styles (avoidant, the resistant, irregular) and the social compatibility of children in the age group (6-12) years, and this relationship was significant at the 0.01 level.
