إتجاهات الطلبة المعلمين تخصص الدراسات الاجتماعية قبل الخدمة نحو قيم الاستدامة خلال جائحة كوفيد 19، وتوجهاتهم المستقبلية نحو تدريسها
The study aimed to identify the pre-service social studies teachers ’attitudes towards sustainability values during the Covid-19 pandemic and their future towards teaching sustainable development in addition to identify the impact of specialization variable on their attitudes. The study employed the descriptive approach by building a questionnaire consisting of five domains: Values centered around nature, values centered on humanity, the values of solidarity, the values of equality, and future orientations towards teaching sustainable development. The study tool was administered to a sample of (50) male and female diploma students at Sultan Qaboos University and private universities in the academic year of 2020-2021. The results showed that the attitudes of the pre-service social studies teachers towards sustainable values during the Covid-19 pandemic, were high in all domains, and they possessed high attitudes towards teaching them in the future. The study recommended the importance of promoting sustainability values in pre-service teacher preparation programs. (Published abstract)
