This study aimed to identify the extent of inclusion of the critical thinking skills in the monotheism course in the secondary stage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 1442 AH - 2020 AD. In order to achieve the aims of this study, the researcher used the analytical descriptive method. the researcher also prepared a list that contained the critical thinking skills that must be included in the monotheism course in the secondary stage, and that list was converted into a standard to analyze the course (aims, content, activates, evaluation). The results of the study showed the lack of consistency in the percentages of inclusion of critical thinking skills in the monotheism course: the skill of production was in the fireplace with a percentage of (49.9%), the skill of understanding and interpretation was in the second stage with a percentage of (25.6%), the skill of conclusion was in the third stage with a percentage of (12.6%) and the skill of judgment was in the fourth stage with a percentage of (11.9%). The results also showed inconsistency in inclusion of critical thinking skills at the level of the elements’ level of monotheism course, where the percentage of inclusion in objectives (25.3%), content (45.2%), activities (16.8%), and evaluation (13.4%). The study recommended that attention should be paid to include the critical thinking skills in the monotheism course, taking into account the balance between its components, in the various educational stages according to the developmental characteristics of the learners, holding training workshops and awareness meetings for Islamic education teachers on how to employ strategies and teaching methods to develop critical thinking skills.
