The study aimed to identify the role of secondary school principals in leading change and professional development from the point of view of the teachers of Al-Farr School in East Jerusalem. Total of (50) male and female teachers were randomly chosen from the study population. Data were collected using a questionnaire based on the researcher’s (Al-Qarni, 2016) change leadership scale and the researcher’s (Abu Zalat, 2021) professional development scale. The results shows : That the degree of change leadership was medium, and professional development was medium too. Secondly, there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α ≤ 0.05) in the role of secondary school principals in leading change and professional development from the point of view of the teachers attributed to gender variables, academic qualifications and years of experience. The study came out with several recommendations, the most important of which are: working to provide a supportive classroom environment to encourage teachers to implement new ideas, working on developing the leadership spirit of teachers by managers, and the need to work on providing training programs for both managers and teachers.
